The lids have a nice tight fit, it will help with accidental tips and spills but not guarantee no leaks if inverted for a long time.
Open the flip-up piece and confirm the rubber ring is in correct position before you install the lid on you tumbler.
It is easy to clean and dishwasher safe, but avoid using in microwave.
You had better keep the flipping closure opening when the tumbler is filled with hot beverages like coffee (about 80 degree Celsius) in case of the lids pop up for hot steam.
