The SolSource Classic Grill Pan with Lid is great for cooking on a stove top at home or for grilling while on a camping trip. Fits SolSource Classic solar grill. Coated with a safe, non-stick ceramic finish, this grill pan won’t chip or peel over time. It is extremely durable and can even withstand temperatures of up to 850ºF (450ºC). The pan features a thick, cast aluminum core that promotes rapid and even heat distribution. This base also has a dark, hard-anodized matte finish to help provide maximum solar energy absorption. The inside of the pan has a ceramic coating that is non-stick and scratch-resistant, making it a breeze to clean when you’re done grilling. Compared to a traditional outdoor grill, a grill pan is easier to transport and clean, making it the best choice for camping. This grill pan is specifically designed for solar cooking, although it can also be used with stove tops or sources of outdoor heat. The lid, however, is designed specifically for use with the SolSource Classic solar cooker. From the base to the top of the lid, our grill pan is 4.8 inches. The height of the grill pan itself (without the lid) is 1.8 inches. The round pan measures 12.5 inches in diameter, offering a generous cooking surface.
