The FDA allows manufacturers to use silicone rubber and other fillers for their muffin pans. Farm Table Chef brand has found a material that surpasses FDA food safety standards. While silicone rubber is considered ‘food-safe,’ we disagree. Our silicone is not like silicone rubber. It is 100% pure BPA-free with no additives and no fillers. Want to test that? Pinch or twist our silicone pan. It won’t turn white because our pans do not have silicone filler. We use only the highest quality LFGB Europen-grade silicone which is pinch/twist test approved and heat resistant up to 450°F. That means baked goods won’t stick and won’t smell or taste like chemicals. Our pans are also heavy-duty because they are made of a 320 gram weighted silicone (compared to competitors who sell 200 gram weighted silicone). Our pans are not flimsy and will last for years to come. 

SILICONE VS TRADITIONAL METAL PANS
1. Silicone pans don’t require a baking liner.
2. Silicone is extremely flexible. Baked goods will easily release as the cup is pushed inside out. 
3. Pure LFGB- certified silicone does not have the chemicals found in metal pans, so nothing leaches into baked goods.
